The weather in the Florida keys can be difficult to predict to say thte least. The success of our fishing day can be infleuenced by the constant changing of the weather. Even the tides can chacne local weather and wind speeds at times. This link will show you a Goverment site that gives you live wind information from a buey in the ocean. This is the true wind speed and direction that we would most likley have when we fish for the day!
This site gives you the actual MARINE wind forcast, not the lame weather forcast that you get from the TV in the hotel room. This is what wind speed and direction is predicted for the next week. It has been know to change over night by mostly streght not direction but is usually right on!
This next site is the best general weather site that I have found. Its called weather underground and all you have to do is plug in Big Pine Key and you will get the resent forcast for cloud cover and temperatures. Ignor the wind prediction on this site.
