FLORIDA KEYS FISHING

SPECIALIZING IN FLY FISHING FOR THE ALMIGHTY PERMIT!

Bring it on! Permit is the top of the crop! To get you phot with one of these SLAMMIN fish is something to brag about.  These fish are smart, spooky and fight like Muhamid Ali.  Capt Chards Permit stomping grounds stretch from the lower Florida Keys to Kwy west and the magical Marquasas Keys.  This are of the Florida Keys better know as Permatopia, offers some of the best fly fishing for permit in the world.  A double dose of  Permit and Capt Chardy will have ya comming back for more!

What can we say!  Again, the Florida Keys offers the absolute best sight fishing for tarpon in the world!  BAR NONE! Miles and miles of large sweeping flats, with Huge deep water channals intertwined, make it a Disney World for Tarpon to come and play, and lay out in the nice warm Keys weather, and , OH YEA SPAWN!  That means big mamma circus fatties coming into town to breed and give you "THE ANGLER" a chance to get tomahawked by 150 pounds of jumping muscle mass!  You can look forward to getting wrenched like Mr. Goodwrench himself when one of these fish scream off with you fly, giving you the tailfin as they pull off a couple of G's and launch in the air, and explode like a roman candle on the 4th of July!  It doesn't get much better then this in the fly fishing world!

WW WWWhere are the most current Bonefish world records held on fly??  Oh yea! In the Florida Keys!  Again the Keys has it going on.  Bonefish round off the top 3 sought after saltwater game fish in the Flyfishing world.  The Keys has it all.  As far as large Bones go, the Keys again have the edge.  Our average size Bone is 6-8 pounds.  Upper Keys Bones are often caught in excess of 12 pounds and up!  These fish come on the flats, sometimes in inches of water with there tails spiking into the air while they root up crabs and shrimp from the grass and mud.  Once hooked, these torpedoes can melt your drag system, and make your Fly reel beg for mercy!  Your hand will also get a work out when you have to reel in 100 - 200 yards of Backing within the 1st 15 seconds of hooking one of these gagers!s!

There are lots of othere fish that you can target in the Florida Keys!  Including lots of sight fishing to sharks, Barracudas, Cobia, Speckled Sea Trout, Redfish, jack Crevelle and Snook.  Check out the chart below for best times of the year to fish for your favorite fish.

By air...
Miami International Airport offers the greatest number of flight options; however, Ft. Lauderdale may be an alternative. From either one you can connect with several commuter airlines offering daily service (a 35 minute flight) to Key West or Marathon. American Eagle, US Air, Comair and Gulfstream are currently offering these flights. Rental cars are available at both airports and we are a short 30 minute drive from either airport.

By Land...
From
Miami it's a 3 hour scenic drive (130 miles) to the Lower Keys, via the Keys island chain, which is linked by a series of bridges along US Highway 1

Cancelation Policy

Bad Weather is considered to be when it is raining all day with lightning threats , or if the wind is blowing too strong for the day.  If the days fishing is cancelled by the Captain for the weather then a $100 charge for the day applies.   Any other cancelations for any reasons will be delt with as they happin.  Most of the time the deposit will be gladly forwarded to another future fishing date.   If the cancelation is considered short notice and I can't get the days filled with another angler in time, the full amount will be due (including Gratuity) for the dates that where booked.    This process will assure your  fishing dates with me for the following year.  This policy has been made through years of experience of dealing with weather and cancelations with customers.  Thanks for your business.
